Dear Friends:

As our diocese continues its Pastoral Plan for the future, in light of the many changes in clergy and religious personnel, the laity will be required to assume more responsibility for various programs and projects.

The demands of work, business, family, etc. sometimes make it difficult for lay people to attend classes in the evening and on weekends especially when they are conducted outside our geographical area.

In order to provide training for interested persons in our Cluster--Brooklyn West 4--we are hosting FIVE introductory classes at Assumption Church.

The goal of this program is to provide formation and theological education for those persons who might assume leadership as volunteer pastoral leaders for a particular ministry in the parish.

We invite the people of our Cluster Parishes to consider this great opportunity and to take advantage of taking these Classes to your local community.

As we continue to work for the mission of the Church, we ask you to pray that the Holy Spirit will be with us as we journey to a future filled with hope and promise.
