| BATTLE CREEK REGIONAL PARK HIKE ULLRs enjoyed a warm fall morning hiking 4+ miles at Battle Creek Regional Park on Friday, October 18. The group welcomed new member Nita D. who said this was her first ULLR activity since joining our Club. We look forward to seeing her at other ULLR events! We began the hike wearing light jackets but soon shed them in the warmth of the sun. The leaves were colorful and crunchy on the trails where we walked. The rustling sound of leaves on the trees waving in the wind was like music to our ears. Following the hike, some of the group went to Keys Café & Bakery for lunch, followed by visiting the nearby Great American Ribs store where each left with a bag of goodies. Nancy Sand |
