| Ullr Foundation Check Presentation Because of a $10,000 donation from Bill Elsholtz, the Ullr Foundation was able to present a $6,000 check to The Shockwaves Adaptive Ski Squad. This will enable them to purchase seats of varying sizes for the Fresh Start Skis, new ropes and handle sets, and blankets to keep the skiers warm after skiing. Treasurer Carol Bush and President Jan Cady were joined by Ullr Margo Dineen. Paul McGinty, the Adaptive director, accepted the check and was joined by Kevin Burkhart, the founder of shockwaves, and his son Finn. Ullr Cheryl Rogers stopped by a little later as we watched the skiers using the equipment provided by the foundation. The weather was exceptional and seeing the joy on the faces of the skiers made it so worthwhile. Jan Cady |
