Japanese Garden Tour
By Sharon Marini
It was a beautiful spring day, no rain, sun and some wind. Seven
Ullrs toured the Japanese Garden in Bloomington designed by Mr. Takao
Watanabe. We were fortunate to see the cherry trees in peak bloom.
There were no koi fish to be found. A duck was sitting on eggs on one of the tiny islands.
After a stroll through the garden, we left for the Japanese Bistro in Edina.
Lunch was interesting. Patty and Cheryl tried the chopsticks, Nancy used a fork and Linda and I used our fingers.
It was fun trying different foods. A great day!
