| The week of March 17-23 had mostly bluebird skies, spring skiing and fellowship for 26 hearty ULLRs and other MSC friends. Twenty one of us arrived Sunday, march 17 via Delta and a one hour coach ride. Five adventurous drivers joined us in time for the group pizza dinner. This was our opportunity to get to know seven new ULLRs plus two MSC/ Sitzmark friends. The weather allowed us to ski and relax in 30 and 40 degree sunshine. The snow arrived Thursday during the day which created better ski conditions on Friday. Dining was a central piece of the adventure too. Huntley lodge provides a bountiful and delicious breakfast with a spectacular view of Lone Peak each morning. In addition, Maril and Jerry Barnard found multiple prestigious restaurants for us to enjoy if we chose. Kate Casserly |
