| Holland Lake Hike October 30, 2023 We had a good group of hikers on the hike today. The weather was chilly but not cold and it was partly sunny. Better than it’s been lately. We did 4.6 beautiful miles. From Lake Holland to Lake Jensen where we turned around and headed back. Seemed shorter on the way back. We could have continued around Lake Jensen and then headed back but that would have added another mile - maybe even two. After hiking, we headed for Doolittles for a delicious meal. Their squash soup is always a welcome fall treat. On the hike was: Linda Heintz, Sharon Marini, Barb Kolbe, Jan Swanberg, Nancy Sand, Nancy and Craig Navis, Mike Nelson, Nan Fergen, Patty Fitzgerald and John Stiefel. |
