| THE LAST HURRAH! Thursday, October 5th, was chilly and windy, but 14 dedicated Ullr bikers turned out for our last ride of the season. The ride was led by Jared and Melinda H. We parked at the downtown St Paul airport, across from Holman Table, the restaurant at Holman Field. We biked along the Mississippi River, south to Swing Bridge Park in Inver Grove Heights. We biked to the end of the bridge and had a chance to enjoy the weather and beautiful scenery. The group back tracked, into a very strong head wind, for 9 miles, returning to our cars. We were very thankful that the day was at least sunny and the temperatures improved while we rode the last half of the ride. Our total distance was 18 miles. 12 Ullrs enjoyed a delicious lunch at Holman Table after our ride. Our biking season has ended until next spring, but it was a successful season.
