| The
weather was perfect for the 2023 ULLR event on Lower Cullen lake at
Good Ol' Days resort. Many of us gathered for socializing, biking,
listening to the loons, kayaking, golfing, shopping and watching the
stars. Monday evening the appetizer event was spectacular, Taco
Tuesday was served by Chef Mike's team, and Wednesday evening there was
a variety of local restaurants and even a few local grills at Condo #4.
John"Marlin Perkins" Vogt saw bears on 2 occasions. One singleton on the trail near the resort and a mom with 2 cubs on the Crow Wing trail while biking with Dan R.! (Don't worry, he was okay. He could peddle faster than Dan😉) With a resounding show of hands, plans are already being made to repeat and expand the event in 2024. |
