Westwood Nature Center Hike
After a couple of false starts (everything looks different with snow cover), we had a decent hike. About 3 miles on uneven frozen ground.
Jim Habeck, Barb Kolbe, Jan Swanberg, Karen Holmquist, Nancy Sand and for a little while Sandra Shearer were the brave souls who joined me.
Sandra decided to go home after a short jaunt. This was not the hike I was thinking about when I planned it. Who knew we'd get this much snow and refreezing.
March is a very unpredictable month. You can see from one picture, that the snow was up to the bottom of the benches.
Let's hope April is better. I'm tried of my hikes and other events being changed or canceled due to weather!
