Jim and Lee are the senior members of our team and Jim just has a satisfied look on his face to be back racing after Covid forced us take a year off.  The only time Jim ever misses a race is when he’s out west on an ULLR ski trip.   Lezley has a very happy look on her face to be sharing a beer with the team after the race.  After many years of conscientious hard work and keeping everything organized for the team, Lesley is retiring as team captain.
Alyson was team captain of our Sunday ULLR Foggy Goggle team for many years.  Yet living in Burnsville and driving almost a hundred miles each way to Wild Mountain finally caught up with her.  She raced for the University of Minnesota-Saint Cloud.

633 Lee Erickson

  634 Mary Hall

  635 John Kasprick

Lee is the most senior member of our team going back to when there was an ULLR race team at Buck on Thursday.  You can see he’s well prepared for the virus.
Mary has been a member of our team for many years and is a solid silver medal winner.  Her biggest worry is that when her daughter graduates from college, she might want the GS suit she handed down to Mom back.
John is one of the fastest racers on our team and a devoted team member.  Lezley spent two years converting John from drinking beer to other “stuff”.  Then this year, Lezley’s back to drinking beer and naturally so is John.

636 Scott Froehlk

 638 Sue Malecha

Scott joined our team the year before the pandemic and this is only his second year of racing.  He is an intense competitor and has become one of the fastest on our team.
Sue joined our team this year.  She is a member of the 3M ski club with many years of mountain skiing, but absolutely no race experience.  She had never been around a gate or in the start house.  But she learned very quickly and became a solid silver medal winner.
