| The Lanesboro trip was wonderful. Beautiful weather, great company, good food and drinks - what more is needed. 25 Ullrs stayed at the Green Gables Inn in Lanesboro and 4 Ullrs stayed off site. One evening we had a surprise visit from “Iowa” Jan. It was nice to hear she is doing well. Many of us enjoyed pies at Whalen. A few Ullrs biked 40 miles RT from Lanesboro to Harmony. Some of the bridges and trails were in need of repair. A few Ullrs did Amish tour and visited Niagara Cave in Harmony, MN. A few Ullrs saw play “Leading Ladies” at The Commonweal Theatre in Lanesboro. We all enjoyed visiting on the patio in the evening where we got to know two new Ullr members (Tee Mudhnna and Andrew Heyer). Thanks to the co-chairs of trip: Pat Nelson, Sharon Marini and Lois Drontle. A special thanks to everyone who pitched in to serve meals and clean up. Thanks Ullrs for a few fun days in the Lanesboro area. |
