NISSWA TRIP at the GOOD OL’ DAYS RESORT
The
Nisswa bikers, walkers, golfers, shoppers and loafers had a wonderful
trip full of coolish weather, fun, sun, wind, food, friendship and
music. We were delighted to welcome a number of new members.
The
first catered picnic dinner was a hit-thanks Chef Mike! The bike
trails presented a few challenges following the severe storm that blew
through the area on Memorial Day, downing lots of branches and a few
trees. The cottonwood fluff was blowing everywhere, tickling
noses so some ULLRs wore their masks on the trail!
John
H (new member) brought his guitar and played mostly classic country at
the fire ring, with ULLRs singing along or providing improvised
percussion using hot dog sticks!
As always, Good Ol’ Days Resort was a perfect spot for home base, and we look forward to returning June 5-8, 2023. |
