| The
roads were clear of snow and ice as 50 ULLRs came to the 2021 Christmas
Social at Minnesota Valley Country Club which was beautifully decorated
with stunning holiday decor. They arrived with new toys to donate
to Toys for Tots and filled 3 huge gift bags and $190 in checks which
were delivered to Kare11 by Ellise Lamb, Janice Swanberg and Margie
Deutsch. Many children had a happier Christmas due to the
kindness of ULLR members. The ULLR Foundation held a raffle for bottles of wine. We were entertained with music by Ross McLeod. A delicious meal was served by the country club staff who were friendly and very efficient. A beautiful Merry Christmas cake for dessert was provided by our club. Table decor was provided by Ellise Lamb. Many thanks to cochairs Ellise Lamb and Janice Swanberg for planning a very entertaining afternoon Christmas Social. Thanks to Diane Erlandson for doing a great job again on name badges and place cards. Thanks to all who came and enjoyed conversations with their ULLR friends. A great time was had by all. The 2022 Christmas Social will again be at Minnesota Valley Country Club at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday December 4, 2022. |
