| Silver Lake Bike Ride and Potluck, July 31st Twenty five bikers arrived at Charlotte and Alan's Silver Lake home for a morning ride on country roads and the Luce Line Trail. There were several Ebikes at the event, as more and more club members make the transition to them. Some of the riders had never ridden in this area, so a small group rode into Hutchinson along the Crow River. The river level was so low from lack of rain that the rapids were dry. Non-bikers arrived early in the afternoon to make a total of about fifty for a social and pot-luck picnic. We all did what Ullrs do best, eat and socialize. As usual, we had plenty of good food to share. Three July 28th birthdays were celebrated (Alan M, Marcia S and Ken M). The birthday cake provided by Sharon M was delicious!
