| Sandy
always over analyzes herself. She’s a super good racer, and we
all encourage her to race for the joy of competition and the fellowship
of being on our team. | Alyson
is a truly dedicated racer. She has to drive all the way from
Lakeville to Wild Mountain every Sunday, and did it every Sunday no
matter what the weather was like. She and Ryan have long shared
the job of being Captain. | Lezley
races with both the Wednesday Raiders and our Sunday team. She
has the magic ability to bring out a perfect smile on people’s faces,
and takes a lot of our individual team pictures for both Sunday and
Wednesday races. | ||

| Elliott
came from Michigan and joined our team, and we are very thankful he and
daughter Mandie did. The first year they raced on our team in the
afternoon, but next year they also joined a morning team so they will
race twice in the same day. | Mandie
has the longest drive of all. Every weekend she drives down from
Duluth to race with us. Her little sister Sammy graduates from
the Big Orange this spring, and we’re hoping she will find a position
here in Minneapolis and can race with us next year | Not
only do we have the family Swiss racing with us, we also have the
brothers Long. Darin had not raced since high school and it took
him a bit of time to get back into the groove, but this year he’s a
very competitive racer. | ||

| Besides
sharing the Captain job with Alyson, Ryan is keeper of the medals (For
every 10 medals we win we get half-off on a pitcher of beer!).
All three of his children race. One Sunday Ryan’s daughter was
racing at Buck Hill, one son racing at Trollhaugen, and the other son
racing at Wild Mountain. | Thomas
is also new to our team this year, and we are very happy he joined
us. Like Ryan and Daren, he has children racing all over the
place, and sometimes it’s hard for mom and dad to be there for the
kids. He has some of the fastest times on our team. | |||
