Ullrs came to Spring Lake Park Reserve on October 9 to hike at Schaar’s
Bluff. Sunshine with warmth and blue skies made perfect
conditions for spending about 2½ hours outside in nature. We were
delighted to have Mike A come to our hike. Mike is our newest
ULLR member. We welcome him to our Club and hope to see him at
many ULLR events. Hike leader Nancy S lead the group around two loops in the Park with many views of the Mississippi River. Looking out at the scenery was great. Stepping to the edge of the bluff and looking down was not so comfortable for everyone, but some did go down a little way to see some awesome views. After the hike, we satisfied our hunger and quenched our thirst at the Bierstube in Hastings. |
