On
Sunday 31 eager ULLRs arrived in Lanesboro ready to bike, golf, take in
a play, and enjoy fellowship. The weather cooperated by being dry
during the days, but nature provided us with a beautiful rainbow at the
end of the day after a brief shower which was captured by Bill B on his
camera.
The mornings began with our own
Barista, Jerry B, making us his delicious coffee which was enjoyed by
all. No wonder everyone had so much energy to bike and
golf. Breakfast consisted of fruit, granola, yogurt, and hard
boiled eggs. A tutorial was given on the perfect hardboiled egg,
and Dan R gave us a demonstration.
Every
mile of the trails was ridden. A group biked to Harmony covering
46 miles while others rode to Fountain and back. Yet others
trailered their bikes to Peterson and rode to Houston, and some did a
round trip to Peterson. Most everyone enjoyed a stop at the pie
shop for a delicious piece of pie.
Happy
Hour in the afternoon provided us with a delicious spread of appetizers
brought by everyone and lots of great conversation and fellowship.
As always, the best part of the trip was the friendship and fellowship enjoyed by ULLRs being together.
