| The
ULLR Ski Gods accompanied Nancy Sand, John Vogt, James Habeck, &
Bruce Warner to Lutsen Mountain Sunday Feb. 25–27. They
encountered 30” of new snow that had been delivered the previous week,
trails that were spectacularly groomed, and three mountains that had
been reserved just for them. Monday was light clouds, 25 degrees and very few people. Tuesday was 30 degrees, clear blue skies and even fewer other skiers. Pizza was enjoyed at Sven & Ole’s Sunday night in Grand Marais & the Lutsen Resort’s famous walleye on Monday night. New York cheese cake at The Caribou Lodge/Hotel finished the stay Tuesday night.
