Saturday, July 8th, 17 ULLRs met at Elm Creek Park Reserve for a bike
ride. We rode through the rolling hills, shaded forrests, wet
lands, and prairies. The wild flowers were in bloom on the
prairie portion of the ride which added a lot of color. Jan
Hotvedt from Decorah Iowa was in town for a couple of days and was able
to join us on the ride. In total we covered 22.5 miles. After the ride, most of us met at the Maple Tavern for food, drink and conversation. The food was delicious. A good time was had by all. |
