| ULLRs Prepare Membership Directory for Mailing One year ago in May the temperature was in the 90s when ULLRs gathered to prepare the updated ULLR Membership Directory for mailing. This year the temperature was much more comfortable and cooler for the May 19th Membership Directory Folding Party. Thirty-three ULLRs came to enjoy each other’s company, including new ULLR member Ray B and former member Bob S. Folding Party Coordinator Nancy S said all jobs had to be completed before indulging in all the delicious foods brought by the participants, so there was great incentive to work efficiently and quickly. Many pairs of hands made the jobs of labeling, folding, taping, and stamping easy. Together, everyone made very quick work of getting about 200 Directories ready for mailing. Jerry and Jan S. were our gracious hosts, and before the evening ended, they showed slides of their recent trip to Cuba. We had fun identifying all the classic cars! Thanks Jerry and Jan for opening your home to your ULLR friends. The next Membership Directory Folding Party will be in December. Let Nancy S. know if you would be willing to host the event! |
