Ullrs rode on two of the three buses to Giants Ridge. There were
only 3 groomed runs open, and due to it raining cats & dogs the day
before our arrival, the runs were a little stiff, but manageable.
Those of us who rode on the early 7 am bus were able to ski from about
11:40, to closing on Friday. There was a light dusting of snow each evening, and Sunday it snowed while we skied. Since the mild temperature each day was in the 30’s, the very wet snow on Sunday melted on our clothing, which got very wet that day. We skied, hiked and participated in the on hill party, turtle races, poker run, human slalom, banquet, dancing and other activities, while enjoying the camaraderie within our group and the other clubs’ participants.
