| Despite
the dreary start to the morning of the 22nd Chocolate Lover’s Ride,
eleven riders found their way through the early morning fog to take a
shortened bicycle ride. Dipped strawberries, fresh fruit, donut
holes and OJ were a few of the morning snacks, with of course,
Hershey’s kisses. We biked from Wabun Park along the East River Road to Summit Avenue. We made a quick stop at “The Monument” before climbing the Summit Avenue hill while enjoying the beautiful gardens and homes along the way. We followed Summit to its end at the University Club. We made another quick stop at Café Latte before the return ride meandering through more beautiful homes and gardens along the way back to the park. The sun began to peek out heating up the day. Time to quit! We ended with a lunch at Rail Street Station Bar and Grill. Yum! |
