| 35 ULLRs enjoyed great company, entertainment, biking, relaxing, and golf in Lanesboro, August 26-28. A group dinner took place at the Branding Iron in Preston, and 26 ULLRs attended a very funny play, Charlies’s Aunt, at the Commonweal Theatre. One patch of trail going east was closed this year, so going that way some trailered their bikes part way; hopefully all that will be finished by the 2016 trip! The Green Gables Inn served as a great place to stay and gather. We had terrific weather Wednesday and Thursday, but as Friday was rainy, people headed home early – perhaps nursing a few tender muscles! Cathy Hartle |
