| After
rescheduling due to severe weather and then a last minute location
change, 10 ULLRs participated in the kayaking program in near perfect
conditions at Bryant Lake Regional Park in Eden Prairie. Instructors from Three Rivers Park District provided explained the basics paddling techniques while on the beach and then the participants took to the water in their kayaks to practice these skills. After almost two hours on the water everyone made it back to the beach. Many of the ULLRs commented that kayaking was more like canoeing than they expected. |
