| Battle Creek Spring Hike Eight ULLRs spent a beautiful spring morning on April 18 exploring some trails at Battle Creek Regional Park. The wide paved main trail winds gently among trees and ponds, but there are many additional grassy trails for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. This Park also includes a waterpark which we all agreed would feel very nice on a hot summer day. We saw many happy dogs with their owners headed for the large open-area dog park. We listened to the birds and frogs, and simply enjoyed the warmth of the spring sun. Following the hike, five of the ULLRs had lunch nearby at Bonfire. |
