| ULLR FOLDING PARTY - BOTH WORK AND FUN Seventeen ULLRs gathered at Sally Chevalier’s home Friday evening, February 20, to prepare the updated ULLR Directory for mailing. Nancy Sand, Folding Party Coordinator, tried hard to keep everyone on task. Not so easy with this bunch of ULLRs! The folders were chided about not being fast enough. The tapers needed additional rolls of tape. The labelers wondered just how many directories we were sending. The stampers wanted everyone to hurry as their job was last, and they worried about everyone else eating all the food before the stampers finished their job. And to top off a very nice evening, host Sally Chevalier entertained us with her unique Party Fiddle and then led us in trivia questions about cowboys and western TV/Movie shows from when we were kids. Who was Roy Roger’s sidekick? Can you name Gene Autry’s horse? What were the names of the three sons in Bonanza? We had a great time, and we encourage other ULLRs to join us August 21 for our next folding party. |
