Mt. Kato
It
was an unusually warm day when 6 skiers drove to Mt. Kato in Mankato on
January 27th. We found perfectly groomed runs and very few people
sharing the slopes with us. We skied pretty much non-stop for 3
hours when we found the snow to be getting softer by the minute.
We
finally went in for lunch and then a few of us went back for a few last
runs before hanging up the skis for the day. Several of us got
our cost down to $1 per run, which made the icing on the cake!
