We
couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day for a hike. It was
80 degrees and sunny, and we experienced the natural environment of
Ritter Farm Park in Lakeville, away from the maddening crowds.
Seventeen of us hiked 3.57 miles in 1 hour and 37 minutes and used 425
calories (What would we do without our electronic devices?).
We chose from many trail options with several navigators and
enjoyed lake views, woods (some color), the hazards of an equestrian
trail and an archery range with fake deer, but no bald eagles.
Then we relaxed at Harry’s Café and had a pleasant lunch on their
patio.
