| Valentine General Meeting by Karen Clarke Fifty-six ULLR members and friends showed up at the February 14 General Meeting. The KC Hall offered a special Valentine Menu consisting of Pork Osso Bucco, Caprese Chicken, Filet Medallions, and Mahi Mahi. A complimentary glass of House Wine and dessert were included with our meals. Tables were set beautifully, and you can see in the photos that our ULLRs enjoyed their meals. The Board Meeting didn’t start until 7:30, which gave everybody a chance to be served and enjoy their meal in the dining room. Joyce Crozier and Bill Kansas serenaded us with special show tunes. We sang “Happy Birthday” to Manfred and had a Valentine trivia game. Winners won Nut Goodies. Actually, we had to just start giving the candy away because some of us don’t really know our Valentine trivia! Will have to try that again some time. At the end of the meeting, we served coffee and cake which kept everyone around until about 9:30. Oh, we had a meeting too! |
