Shoppers,
hot pool users, diners, sleigh riders, beer drinkers, para gliders, and
yes, skiers travelled to Sun Valley, Idaho the week of Feb 2 to
Feb 9.
This spectacular resort, founded in
1936 and the first downhill ski resort in the US, is famous for its
hospitality and welcome. Both were in enormous display while we
were there.
Trip chairs Pat Nelson and Bruce
Warner led 36 eager folks to experience Sun Valley’s earned reputation.
North Star, Red Eye, Knob Hill, Tuesday Wipeouts, Ski Hawks,
& Snofuls, from Oregon, Wisconsin, Idaho, & Florida joined a
core of ULLRs to partake in a week of outstanding weather, sun every
day.
A week of cost effective enjoyment in
luxurious condos, non-stop airplanes, (only one lost bag), &
superior service by the Sun Valley Lodge made for a trip and memories
to last forever.
