| The weather cooperated for our 2-3 days of biking. Monday afternoon three of us biked the Heartland Trail from our cabin to Dorset. Tuesday we biked the many miles of hills within Itasca Park (16 mi), and Wednesday most biked from Nevis to Walker (33+ mi). The pictures show our picnic area near the riverside resort which we stayed in. Monday night everyone contributed potato toppings for our baked white and sweet potatoes provided by Cheryl Rogers. Wednesday night we all prepared various salads for dinner. Our resort hosts were delightful people and we invited them to join us in these dinners. |
