Thanks to all who brought delicious food to the Good Ol' Days. Your presentation was excellent and we certainly had plenty to eat! The weather was perfect except for a short little rain Wednesday evening. Some people biked Wednesday after they arrived, most biked Thursday and a few biked on Friday. Miles covered on Thursday ranged from 10 to over 60. The bakery in Pine River was a favorite. Three ladies took a dip in the crystal clear water of the lake. We had a bonfire each night. The only incident was a trip to the ER which resulted in 14 stiches. Where did this occur? I'll bet you think it was biking, but no... it happened in the cottage. We are grateful to all of you who participated and helped out in every way. We treasure your friendship. It was because of all of you that this trip was a success. Thank you! Mary Ellen and Sharon |
