On Wednesday, January 25, the ULLR Foundation presented a check for $1,800 to The Hammer Residences.
They are a non-profit which has spent over eighty years in caring, respecting, and empowering adults and children
with developmental disabilities to live life to the fullest.
We were treated to a beautiful experience in a healthy
environment. It is easy to see why they are doing such a wonderful job. The funds are to buy equipment for
excercize and recreation. We all came away believing they will do well with what we provided them.
Also, a
thank you to Sally Chevalier who sought them out and did the research before we voted to make this grant. We all came away from that meeting with a real high and reenforcement for what the ULLR Foundation and
the generosity of the ULLR Ski, Bike & Social Club members can mean to those we can help.
