36 enthusiastic ULLRs took part in the Lanesboro bike and golf trip.  We arrived on Sunday and about half of us biked and the other half went to see “To Kill a Mockingbird” at the Commonweal Theatre.  We then enjoyed fun and fellowship at our 3-hour “happy hour” with lots of good food and libations.

We awoke on Monday to clouds and cool weather, but it quickly became a glorious day to be on our bikes.  First we bulked up for the day with eggs, fruit and other goodies and then it was off for a day of fun and adventure.  There were several successful bike outings, including one unnamed female that won an Olympic medal and I believe she was quoted as saying “eat my dust”. We had one minor incident on the trail that day when Mary Ellen G hit a hole on the trail and went down and hurt her shoulder.  Fortunately she was not injured too severely, and she made it back for a great group dinner at the Old Village Hall in town.

Tuesday morning was cloudy and misty so we ate breakfast and most of us packed up and drove home.  It was a great trip filled with food, fun and frolic.
