Celebrate Independence Day - Potluck Social and Bike Ride

Sixty-three ULLRs came to visit their country cousins, Charlotte and Alan, at their home in Silver Lake on July 2.

We had 27 who came early to bike our country roads.  It was sunny and warm with a light breeze to help keep us cool and humble.  Another 35 arrived about 1:00 pm to join in the socializing, pot-luck food and beverages.

Nothing is better on a sunny Summer day than sitting on a comfortable lawn chair in the shade, beverage in hand, with a warm breeze coming off the lake and sharing conversation with friends.  Add a variety of delicious appetizers, salads, fruits, hamburgers and desserts and you have a glorious summer day. 

Thank you to all who came and did what ULLRs do best: SOCIALIZE.
