Super Moon Hike
On March 19th the moon was closer to the earth than it's been since 1992.
On March 18th six adventureous hikers ventured forth on a perfectly clear night at Wood Lake Nature Center to observe almost daylight conditions. Someone recommended moon glasses (versa sun glasses) and moon skin protection from the glare. Moon shadows created enough light to make rabbit ears and birds with hands gestures. Several owls were heard in the background.
