On January 23rd, 30 participants attended the ULLR hosted MSC Meet and Ski event.  Our club had a good turnout of 26 people, and 4 participants were from other clubs (Sitzmark, Ski Hawks and Traverski).

The day started out a little cool with a temp of minus 11 degrees, but hardy members showed up and supported this event.  Our great chef Ali Kalish aided by Ray Hartmann and David Lyons cooked chili, and grilled hamburgers as we gathered around the fire pit for lunch.  The snow conditions were good, and we had a fun day of skiing. 

At the end of the day we stopped at Dan’s Bar & Grill in New Trier for dinner, and watched the second half of Pittsburgh's 24-19 victory over the New York Jets in the AFC championship game.
