LANESBORO WEEKEND

40 ULLRs descended on Lanesboro the weekend of August 27-29th.  27 of us stayed at the Green Gables Inn and the rest were in B&Bs or other Inns around town.

We gathered both Friday and Saturday afternoons for lots of assorted appetizers and wine, had a delicious hot breakfast on Saturday and enjoyed our group dinner at the Old Village Hall on Saturday night.

10 folks went to “Enchanted April” at the Commonweal Theatre on Friday night, and 30 laughed through the wacky “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” on Saturday night. 

With all this activity we still had time to put many miles on the bikes, shop, golf, stop for ice cream and pie and of course we enjoyed lots of conversation with our ULLR friends.  The weather was perfect and the comaraderie was terrific.
