| Paul Bunyan Trail Post Trip Report
52+ ULLRs made their way Up North to the Good Ol’ Days Resort in Nisswa June 16th to 18th for 3 days of biking, shopping, kayaking, fishing, dining, socializing, and for a few brave souls, swimming. There was good news and bad news regarding the weather. Wednesday and Friday were glorious, but the storms that threatened all day on Thursday finally let go with a deluge right at dinner time. So, we all cozied up into 3 condos for our meal and were thankful that the tornados that swept through MN that night missed us. We are also thankful for all the helpers who set up, prepped, served, supervised, cleaned up, hauled and scooped (ice cream). Special recognition goes to Tom R, JJ and Bob S for braving the rains to grill our chicken, and to Dick D who led us with his guitar in a sing-a-long ‘round the fire pit Wednesday night.
