What’s Cookin’ Volunteers

The picnics this summer have been a great success.  Each picnic meal was planned and hosted by a different ULLR group.  The Hosts receive recognition for their work in the summer schedule and also, as a thank you, get a FREE MEAL PASS for their event.  A special thanks to Ali Kalish and Mary Ellen Haggerty.  For the first picnic of the summer they prepared the food and grilled brats and polish sausage on a new propane grill; which they picked up especially for the event.

On August 22nd the following ULLRs were recognized for their service this summer making every picnic a fun and pleasant experience for all attendees:
Don and Judy Cooke, Bill Handsaker, Picnic Coordinators
Carol DeVore, Cashier
Gus Bjorklund, Dave Lyons, Jeff Fischer and Nancy Harman, Beverages

For their gracious and dedicated volunteer work they were rewarded with a FREE MEAL PASS for the final two picnics along with our gratitude for a job well done.

All of these volunteers are the kind of ULLRs who make the club what it is, a wonderful social club for the membership.  Thanks to all of them.
