| Twenty six Ullrs and friends thoroughly enjoyed the Pops Concert at Orchestra Hall on December 13th. The program was a wonderful combination of the symphony orchestra, some big band sound with a great trumpet player, a very talented female vocalist and two beautiful youth choirs from the twin cities… all presenting us with traditional Christmas music with a little jazz thrown in for good measure. We enjoyed complimentary coffee and donuts before the concert, with plenty of time for visiting and meeting guests as well as new members, Kae and Ralph Jewell.
Following the concert we walked down the skyway to Macy’s to a delicious lunch in the Oak Grill and most of us took a stroll through the 8th floor auditorium to view this year’s display – The Nutcracker. Thanks to all who joined us, |
