Text Box: CHRISTMAS GALA Assumption parish will celebrate our Annual Christmas Gala/Silent Auction on Saturday, December 6th. This is a major fundraiser for our parish. Due to the fact that we are in the midst of a Capital Centenary Campaign, the tickets for the Gala are $25 per person. Donations for the Silent Auction may be dropped off at the rectory (64 Middagh Street) Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. Donations may also be dropped off at the rectory by first calling 718-625-1161 to ensure someone will be there to receive the items. LITURGY COMMITTEE The Liturgy Committee will meet on Monday, November 17th at 7:30 P.M. in the rectory. Anyone who is interested in joining this committee is cordially invited to this meeting. We invite all our parishioners to be as generous as you can. Our donations go to a parish in Brooklyn that has a daily food pantry. Thank you! LECTORS AND MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION There will be a meeting of all the Lectors and Ministers of Holy Communion on Monday, November 10th at 7:30 P.M. in the Church Hall. All registered parishioners should have received a new set of envelopes this past week. These are the correct envelopes to use now. In order to assist you we suggest the following guide. The envelopes that have the amount of contribution listed length wise from top to bottom in a special box are to be discarded. The envelopes that have the contribution amount listed under the name and address and that go across the envelope - are the correct envelopes.
