Text Box: SUMMER SCHEDULE

We will begin our Summer Mass Schedule this weekend of June 14 - 15th. Starting this weekend we will have the 5:00 P.M. on Saturday and just the 10:00 A.M. Mass on Sunday. Thank you for your cooperation!

A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY!!

Please, consider the following: We need two teachers for next Year’s Religious Education Program: for grades pre-K and the 4th Grade. To be involved in this ministry, is very rewarding, indeed! Please call Sister Maria or Father Carrano at 625-1161. Thank you!

FATHER’S DAY

This Sunday is Father’s Day. We ask you to remember your fathers living or deceased in our Annual Novena of Masses. The necessary envelopes are at the back of the Church.
Text Box: CELEBRATION FOR SISTER MARIA

This weekend we honor Sister Maria, our Pastoral Associate, who is moving on this summer to a new assignment and, is celebrating her Golden Jubilee as a Religious - a member of the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor. Sister has given of herself tirelessly for the many needs of our parish - especially initiating a superb Religious Education Program for our children. Her spiritual direction has made our RCIA Program (adults who wish to become Catholics) a model program for our diocese. Although Sister will be missed, we know that her prayers will be with us. On this very special day we wish Sister Maria many years of happiness, joy, and spiritual fulfillment in her new assignment. Sister Maria, you are special and we love you!

PRAY FOR THE DECEASED

Please pray for Mary Ryan, a long time parishioner who died last Sunday.

Dear Friends:
It is with great happiness and joy that I announce the names of the following parishioners who were elected to a three year term, on the Pastoral Council, at our June meeting. We graciously welcome: Marianne Bellucci, Kristin Erickson, Alex Gallardo, Mary Macchiarola and Patrick McEntee (who will serve for two years). Patrick will complete Teresa Genaro’s term as her schedule makes it prohibitive for her to continue to serve on our Council. There are no words to express how much I personally rely on the wisdom, counsel and guidance of the entire Pastoral Council. As I see it, these wonderful men and women represent the interests and concerns of the parishioners. It is their responsibility to speak up for all interests and for the well being of the parish. This has been our goal for the last eight years and I believe it has been what makes us grow spiritually and in many other ways. In the coming year I will rely more on their wisdom and direction as the diocese will ask parishes to make some major decisions on many levels. I know that the newly elected members, along with those who presently serve the Council, and your great supportive prayers will make God’s will be done.

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Michael A. Carrano
