Text Box: From the Pastor’s Desk

Dear Friends:
One of the great joys I have as Pastor is the monthly Pastoral Council meetings. These meetings are important because your elected representatives discuss many issues and concerns for our parish. I rely on their wisdom and advice in assisting me in my role as pastor. One of the ideas that surfaced this past Monday is to have a “Suggestion Box” in the back of the church. The purpose of this Suggestion Box is for you to submit your ideas about any aspect of our parish life: Worship, Music, Education, Social Events and Activities, Prayer, Community Life, etc. The Suggestion Box is now at the back of the church. Each week I will review your ideas and present them to the Pastoral Council at our monthly meeting. I truly believe this is a great means of having ideas and suggestions brought to the leadership of our parish. As I mention often to our Council the mission of leaders is to serve the needs of the “common good.” This is a major goal of ours and I hope and pray this new vehicle of communication will help us grow in our community life together. God bless you.

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Michael A. Carrano
